LOVELY RULES
~
~
[/center]Register with anything you like but change your display name to your character's name, whether it's first and last, middle name included, middle initial or just what your character's known as. No symbols in the title.
No altering the application template. Once you have completed it and it has been accepted, you may post in the IC boards. Don't forget to go to the claims, so it is easier to keep things neat and tidy and to avoid confusion and fights. The application subject must be your LAST, first.
If you have any questions you can either go to the questions & complaints board, ask in the c-box or PM an admin.
Fighting and advertising are a no-no in the c-box. To post a site ad, go the appropriate board. Swearing is human.
You may have as many characters as you want, all in separate accounts, if you're able to keep them all active. Try not to take more than three canons and make a note to keep the member group and male to female ratio even.
Check the face claim first. If your desired PB is taken, that sucks. Try negotiating.
No perfect characters. No god modding. No power playing. No magic powers. No supernatural stuff.
Try to post at least once a week. Activity checks will be held every month. You will get an e-mail if you fail to reply to one and if there's no answer, your account(s) will be deleted.
Posting has to be done in the third person, past tense.
Proper capitalization is pretty.
The spell-check button is your best friend.
If you're not tagged and it's not open, don't intrude. Ask first.
The minimum for posting is at least a good paragraph. We prefer quality over quantity. A thousand words can still give nothing to reply to if it's repetitive and there's not much action. But we don't want one-liners either. What's important is that you try to give characterization and move the plot along.
As for the sexy, fade to black.
Graphics also must be kept PG-13.
And they can't stretch the board or be taller than 500.
Respect EVERYONE.
Three warnings means suspension. Three suspensions means ban.
Be creative and enjoy yourself!
