No one knows when it was founded. And very few can tie the well-known real estate mogul to the mythical black ops agency. Those few might not even know he himself worked as an assassin for the CIA years back and they might not be aware of his motivations for founding The Central. All they know is he must have worked for years to device the plan, put it into action and turn it into the elite contract killing organization it is today and that he must have had some clout and high-ranking contacts to do so.

The Central has ties with the CIA, the KGB and the UN among many other important institutions, all having made use of its fine services on occasion. World leaders have requested their assests... sometimes only to be retired by the very agency shortly after. For its allegiances and the stealth with which its hitmen deliver, it is beyond challenging to gather any shred of evidence of these jobs.

The Central's assets are a varied group. From all over the world, the agency locates these men and women and offers the opportunity to earn exorbitant sums of money to exploit their skills. Some of these killers had been working as a freelancers, alone or in a group, long before The Central got in touch with them. Some worked exclusively for drug cartels or government agencies. Some had no experience at all but showed a lot of promise and thus were recruited.

The Central also offers a training program for talented youths, oftentimes recruiting young adults fresh out of juvenile hall or the streets with the purpose of training them to become perfect killing machines. Excellent memory, engineering, bomb construction and deconstruction, computer hacking, various types of martial arts, the handling of various weapons, the ability to control several types or aircrafts, to speak several languages fluently... these are the types of skills The Central plants and enhances in their assets.

Furthermore, they provide these men and women with legitimate covers for their everyday lives. The assassins may reside anywhere in the world they please with all the right paperwork and a valid excuse for traveling: diplomat, salesman, system analyst, etc.

Failure to fulfill a contract, blowing a cover or letting a witness live is punishable by death.

The Central has a high standard to be met without exception. You can rely on your contract killers to comply to special commands such as making it look like an accident, doing it publicly, getting rid of the body, making a hit particularly gruesome, using a specific type of weapon, on a specific location, etc.

Similarly, another one of the girls escaped her strict religious boarding school and was forced to kill a local religious fanatic who wanted to "save" her from the fires of hell. A fourth girl's family was murdered by the military as she found shelter in a refugee camp, a place she later had to escape after killing a man who tried to rape her. As for the boys, one of them was sent to juvie after getting cold feet during his initiation ritual for joining a gang, which consisted of robbing a convenience store at gun point, and shot the gang leader instead. Another was intercepted while on the run from the authorities after killing his step-father in self-defense. A third boy dropped out of high school in order to pursue car jacking for a living before causing the death of a police officer after an interrupted heist. The last boy's father was a prominent criminal attorney who pissed off an infamous mob boss and got himself killed only to have his son avenge him and run away.

Now the CIA has requested a hit on him.

Taken prisoner after the laboratory in which she worked was violently shut down by a secret government organization, she escaped by murdering the two agents sent to torture and question her. She doesn't know it yet, but The Central's got an eye on her talent.

He's the irresponsible heir to a multimillion dollar company. With his father's condition getting worse, his uncle is beginning to fear what will become of the empire. The young heir might not be aware that his uncle is comtemplating ordering a hit on him.

He didn't mean to do it. He had to, though. If he hadn't gotten to his sister's boyfriend first, he would have killed her. It's not his fault he's smart enough to have done it so stealthily. Now that he's gotten an offer by some Central who wants to recruit him, well the money sounds great, but no. It's not his thing. Is it?

This nurse doesn't only work at the hospital. Sometimes, she's visited by these mysterious people who smell like gun powder or worse and who give her a lot of cash to take care of their odd wounds, no questions asked. She doesn't know that her regulars are contract killers who find themselves unable to attend a hospital sometimes because they risk drawing attention.
